I have been told by my Malaysian school mate Eyong regarding the Redang Island couple times, but I seldom thought about how beautiful and famous it can be. Actually it is also famous in China because of a Hong Kong's movie (Summer Holiday, 夏日嬷嬷茶) was shooting there. This July, I had a chance to photograph wedding photography for a couple in Redang Island, it was my first time to be there also Malaysia.
Redang Island is one of the largest islands off the east coast of Malaysia, it can be reached mainly from Kuala Terengganu city and approximately takes an hour by ferry which operated by the resorts or hotels on the island. The size of reachable area on the island is not that huge, but its two main beach are unbelievably beautiful. Pure white sand beach and crystal water are attractive features. 
This island offers snorkeling and scuba diving activities easily which next to those two beach. The snorkeling mask can be hired in each marine center and costs 20-30 MYR, scuba diving costs from 150 MYR for two hours including lessons and all equipment and 850 MYR for getting diving licence.
Different class of resorts and hotels with packages are available from three days to four days and even more. In addition to eat in the hotel, some other restaurants and bars are also available for tourists at the night time which is another enjoyable life style for most people relaxing there.
One day shooting was going well and fast. The feeling of finishing all works and relaxing there were amazing except other water activities. Sat under coconut palms to enjoy the Malaysian food facing the quiet and saturated sea; Walked on white sand beach to enjoy the magic hour of sunset; Drank, listened and watched all people dancing and releasing by a song ("Beautiful Name" by Zoegirl ) in a open bar which next to the beaches……They would be all my enjoyable life on this island .
