Before the 6D MKII came out on the market, I read a few post about its disappointing dynamic range performance. I did play casually with the all new 6D MKII for very short time in Brisbane, and took a few shots to compare with my 6D. Although it’s not a serious comparison, however it seems 6D MKII has a little bit more noise in shadow area, It might be caused by its high pixel density. The contrast and saturation in my 6D picture profile have been reduced a bit, and 6D MKII at standard picture profile, therefore the images from my 6D look a bit more detail and a bit smooth in shadow area as well.
